You will need to know how to accurately record your financial transactions, deal with tax and GST, and most importantly, how to analyse your results so you know how your business is performing. Through studying Accounting you will learn to prepare and analyse your financial statements, identify potential problem areas and know what to do about them. Perhaps you will just need to know how to make wise investment decisions. Accounting can help with all of this and more. It helps foster organisation skills, focus and accuracy and satisfaction from a task successfully completed.
