Outdoor Education
Y12 students have the opportunity to develop skills in a wide range of outdoor pursuits including:
navigation, rock climbing, kayaking and mountaineering. Essential components of this course are the overnight trips and the week- long expedition in Tongariro National Park in Term 3. Assessment is through Achievement Standards and Outdoor Recreation Industry Unit Standards, which can lead to further qualifications in the Outdoor Industry. Students selecting this course maybe interested in the Adventure Racing options available.
