Rogaining
Adventure Racing - 2011
A number of events have seen NPBHS students heading off Adventure Racing. At the end of February the Kaweka mountain run was held with 15 or so of our students competing in the various options ranging from the 13km ‘short’ event to the 30km two day or the 40km one day events.
Mid March saw students compete in the ARC 12 hour race in Coromandel.
On March 30 the annual TSS Rogaine was held at Lake Mangamahoe with 500 students from around the province competing.
On April 8 10 teams of 4 from NPBHS and NPGHS will compete in the NZSS 12 hour adventure racing champs, the GO412.
