The Buildings and Facilities

The hostel comprises two main houses, Moyes and Carrington. The dormitories have all been recentlyrefurbished and are carpeted and well furnished with easy access to toilets and showers.Masters are resident in each house. In addition the Annex, Niger House, and the New Wing provide greater privacy for senior students.

The Hostel has games rooms, a centrally-heated dining room and a large lounge/TV room, as well as a completely modernised kitchen complex and a lockable cycle shed.

Currently the boarding houses are at full capacity. Our boarders come from rural Taranaki and King Country, from all over the North Island, and from overseas countries. Our overseas students include students from Japan, Fiji, Australia, Solomon Islands, Thailand, The Maldives, Hong Kong, Korea and China.

The boys eat their meals in a completely modernised kitchen and dining room complex.
