The occasion of our annual ANZAC Assembly on Wednesday, 26 April at New Plymouth Boys' High School is a very important part of our school year. Our 2023 Top 6 Student Leaders were re-presented their Tiger Jackets in a special ceremony with their close family members in Pridham Hall last night. Annual Work Day – Friday 10 March

This year the PTA’s major fundraising event is being held as a School Work Day and the PTA has decided that the funds it raises will be used to provide shade around the school and more opportunities for lunchtime activities. It will also provide a subsidy to extra-curricular transport costs. Athletics Sports Day

The school's annual Athletic Sports will take place on Thursday, 9 March at the TET Stadium in Inglewood.  It is a fun day for all students which strengthens the inter-house spirit of the school. There are events for all students, including competitive and non-competitive house events. Buses will be provided for students free of charge to and from the venue. The first days of the School Year 2023

Huia Rōpū Teachers and Leaders 2023

Each student in the school is allocated to a House and, within that House, a Huia rōpū, made up of Year 9-13 students. Each rōpū (group) has a Huia Teacher and Huia Leader and each House a Student and Staff Leader. Huia times are used for administration, mentoring and developing well-rounded young men.Read more

Uniform Shop Holiday Hours

During the Christmas break, the Uniform shop had a makeover and a broadening of its role at the school. Over recent years we have had growth in the online shop and more parents are using the click-and-collect option of school products. Held in the last week of the year, they provide opportunities to experience new activities, make new friends, and finish the year on a high note.
