2020 Changes to NCEA

The NZ Qualifications Authority have made some changes to NCEA in 2020 introducing learning recognition credits to the 2020 qualification. A Level 1 student can earn one learning recognition credit for every five credits gained, up to a maximum of 10. Tri-Schools Surfing Competition

The tri schools surfing comp was held over three locations on Monday 24 August - Friday 28 August with an U14, U16 and U18 all running at different spots around Mahia to maximise the best conditions. The boys had a once in a lifetime experience to hang with NZ pro surfer Ricardo Christie on Tuesday, and then to have him film and analyse their surfing was awesome. Parents Interviews and Process for Course Selection for 2021

In 2020 we have reviewed our course selection process and parent interviews. We have made a number of changes to the way we have done things in the past. 2020 Boarding Open Days

Due to Alert Level 2 restrictions, NPBHS is hosting two Boarding Open Days on Friday, 5th June and Monday, 8th June. The intention is to have those located south of the school on Friday, 5th June and those located north of the school Monday, 8th June.
