The school will close at 12:05 pm on Monday, 24 June to accommodate a paid PPTA (Post Primary Teachers Association) Union Meeting being held in Stratford for all teachers in Taranaki. The school is required to accommodate such meetings if requested. On Monday, 24 June (week 9 of this term) the Year 12 students will be in attending the ‘Loves-Me-Not’ programme run by the school, in conjunction with New Plymouth Girls’ High School and the Police. NPBHS vs FDMC Sports Exchange

An outstanding result yesterday for both 1st XV Rugby and 1st XI Football teams winning their games against Francis Douglas Memorial College. 1st XI FootballAfter a goal-less first half, the game sprung into life in the second when substitute Olie Scott jumped with the keep from a well worked cross to score the opener. New Plymouth Boys' High School was honoured to have Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Crow (Old Boy 1983-87) return as guest speaker for the 2019 ANZAC Assembly on Monday.
