Loves-Me-Not Programme for Year 12 students
On Monday, 24 June (week 9 of this term) the Year 12 students will be in attending the ‘Loves-Me-Not’ programme run by the school, in conjunction with New Plymouth Girls’ High School and the Police. This programme will NOT be affected by the PPTA Paid Union Meeting that is being held on the same day.
The ‘Loves-Me-Not’ Workshop has been inspired by Sophie Elliot’s legacy and her mother Lesley’s passion to educate all young New Zealanders on what is a healthy relationship and what is not a healthy relationship.
As a school, our aim is to work alongside our boys to develop healthy and respectful relationships and as such we support this cause.
The workshop will be run at New Plymouth Girls’ High School with all year 12 students to meet at the NPGHS hall at 8.50 am. The day is expected to finish at 2.30 pm. Students are to wear full school uniform and bring a pen and their lunch.
