Geography is the study of the environment as the home of people. It looks to help us understand the world we live in; how this has changed over time and how it will continue to do so into the future.

Geography seeks to explore how people with both the natural and cultural environment. It is interested in the arrangement of features on the surface of the earth, and the patterns and processes that have created them.

Students will learn to think spatially and use maps, visual images and new technologies, including geographical information systems (GIS), to obtain, present and analyse information.They will also be able to look critically at some of the big issues at play in the world we live in and think about different people’s values and perspectives on these issues.
