Physics seeks to understand nature at its most fundamental level. Physicists – and students studying physics – attempt to discover and apply the general laws that govern force and motion, matter and energy, and space and time.

Prior Learning: 12 Credits in Level 1 Science (including Science 1.1) and good performance in Level 1 Mathematics
Future Pathways/Subjects: Level 3 Physics
Note:
This course is designed for students who wish to gain an understanding of how the physical world operates. It covers basic mechanics, waves and electrical theory with additional topics in atomic physics and experimental methods.

EXTERNAL CREDITS:  7 credits
