The first days of the School Year 2023
FRIDAY, 3 FEBRUARY
Year 9 students:
Meet on the top field outside Pridham Hall (the first entrance on the left, travelling up the hill) at 8.40am. You will be welcomed with a pōwhiri into Ryder Hall. Parents who want to be formally welcomed as part of the pōwhiri, are welcome to stay.
The first day is an orientation for new students with the Year 13 student leaders. Year 9 students will need to bring their ‘Welcome to School’ Book posted to them in December. If they intend to bring a device to school, please bring it on the first day to allow us to connect to the school wifi. We do not connect phones to the school wifi, the device must have a screen size larger than 20cm.
TUESDAY, 7 FEBRUARY
8.40am – All students are to attend Huia Rōpū
9.00am – Full School Assembly (venue tbc)
