It has been fantastic to see our students achieving and representing the school across winter sports, as well as taking part in a wide range of activities, including the Spelling Bee Competition in Hamilton, Pasifika Fono and our Pasifika boys performing at rest homes and schools, the Outdoor Education Mountain expedition, and celebrating our champions in the 2026 UC Tron Society Engineering Challenge. There have been plenty of other activities and achievements across the school, making for another memorable term.
In October, we’re looking forward to hosting Old Boys’ Gatherings in Sydney and Hamburg and strengthening our connections with the wider NPBHS community. More details are below, and we’d love you to register your interest if you’re able to join us.
The Headmaster will also be in Sydney with our Cricket teams, who are travelling from 3–12 October 2026 for a 10-day Australian Cricket Tour. The boys will play six matches against Sydney schools and cricket academies, alongside opportunities to experience some of Sydney’s iconic attractions.
We’d love to reconnect with our Old Boys living in Sydney and invite you to come along and support the teams while they’re in town. Come along to a match, catch up with fellow Old Boys and show the boys some NPBHS support from the sidelines. If you would like details of when the games are taking place, please email me.
