Touch Rugby is a rapidly growing summer sport in New Zealand, and this trend is evident in the increased participation at NPBHS.

Our school proudly fields a 1st VI touch team, consistently competing in the national touch playoffs and holding the title of Taranaki's premier boys' school touch team for several years. Additionally, more than 10 school teams participate annually in the city-wide touch competition in New Plymouth. We are actively working to expand our teams to meet the growing demand for competitive play.
