Squash has enjoyed popularity as a winter sport at New Plymouth Boys' High School for more than 30 years. We are fortunate to have two squash courts on-site in the Fookes Pavilion. The squash season runs from Term 2 to Term 3, and it is an SCP sport, with most practices taking place at Kawaroa Squash courts.

Coaches: Hamish Gray and Kaye Carter
Competition and Teams: Hamilton Boys’ High School exchange, Francis Douglas Memorial College annual exchange, Cullinane College annual exchange (focusing on new player development and experience), culminating in the Secondary School Squash Nationals competition in August.
Trainings: Thursdays SCP and additional team training sessions at Kawaroa Park Squash.
Uniform and Equipment: Dry fit shorts and shirt, court shoes and racquet.
Cost: Subs vary from year to year, and there is a cost for trips away.
